Limelight Networks Japan Announces Two New Customers

In 2008, our international revenue grew by 62%, and our offices around the globe continue to make progress. Today, Limelight Networks’ Japan announced two new customers. We’re blogging these announcements for those who can’t read the Japanese characters in the press releases:

First, we have been selected as the delivery partner for Microsoft’s Zenbu Kensaku search engine, currently in beta. This search engine is unique in Japan because it provides text, image, video, news, maps, and shopping results together on one page — refered to as “zenbu”. Limelight Networks is providing page acceleration for the delivery of the search results — including the text, data, and thumbnails – out of our facilities in Tokyo.

Next, we have been selected to provide real-time Adobe Flash streaming services via the LimelightSTREAM service for Gaitame.com, the leading foreign exchange retail trading company in Japan. The company is also an application service provider offering a foreign exchange trading system for financial institutions.

We welcome Zenbu Kensaku and Gaitame to the Limelight Networks family!
